<div>Hello, My name is Vanessa, a vet student in Australia, and I am fundraising for my friend Ahmed in Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ahmed is a veterinary student and an aspiring small animal surgeon hoping to raising enough funds for his tuition to continue his studies online. One semester is about <strong>$1,800 USD</strong>, but the school has allowed him to pay in installments - <strong>$600</strong> at registration (in about a month), <strong>$600</strong> and midterm exams, another <strong>$600</strong> at final exams. His family also has no current income, both of his parents no longer work, they've lost their apartment and currently live in a tent in Khan Younis and winter is coming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This fundraiser will also help cover basic necessities, such as food, clothes, and rent for an apartment if they are able to find one.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here is Ahmed's story, in his own words:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Ahmad, a veterinary student from Gaza. I chose this path because I care deeply about animals and their suffering, especially in a place like mine. But today, I'm not only struggling to continue my studies – I'm struggling to survive, and my family and I live in hunger while surrounded by war and hardship.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite everything, I still try to care for animals with the little I have. My dream is to finish my education and open a clinic to help animals .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support can help me survive, cover my university tuition fees, pay our house rent, and support my family’s basic living needs.
</div>
<div>Thank you from my heart.
