<div>Hello, my name is Latesha.

</div>

<div>I am creating this GoFundMe to support an extraordinary and resilient 18‑year‑old who recently experienced the sudden loss of his mother in the summer of 2025. He is my son’s best friend, and his mother was not only his primary provider but also his greatest source of encouragement.

</div>

<div>Despite this heartbreaking loss, he graduated from Huguenot High School in Richmond, VA in May 2025 and was accepted to college. Unfortunately, he had to delay his enrollment due to the unexpected passing of his mother. He will now begin his college journey in Ohio in January 2026.

</div>

<div>This young man is strong, determined, and compassionate, even after enduring such a difficult year. As he prepares to start this new chapter as a full‑time student living out of state, I want to ease his transition and help set him up for success.

</div>

<div>All donations to this GoFundMe will go directly to him to cover essential needs for his dorm room and college living expenses. Your support will not only relieve some of the stress he faces but also remind him that he is not alone as he takes this important step toward his future.

</div>

<div>Thank you for considering a contribution to help this remarkable young man begin his college journey with hope and stability
