They are formerly incarcerated Muslim who was a leader and activist in the Muslim community inside prison, and has continued their work since coming home. They are an inspiration to many on how to build solidarity across movements and prison walls; we hope our community will show solidarity and support in return.

<div>They are experiencing a health crisis and have <strong>urgent</strong> medical and associated expenses that they can't afford. They need $3300 [NOTE: this has increased, please see the latest update for an explanation on our increased fundraising goal], a significant portion of which is needed for car repairs that are required in order to travel to and from appointments.
