Heidi's fight for a cancer free future with her children.

Hi, my name is Heidi. As you may or may not know, I'm a single mom, and at the moment, I'm facing one of the biggest battles of my life. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Cancer runs strong in my family, but we are also just as strong at beating it. since my diagnosis 2 months ago I have had a double mastectomy and we construction surgery. On the 19th of May we will have a revision of the surgery for any skin that did not heal. And every day from the original surgery to the 19th I have been going to the hyperbarics oxygen chamber to do oxygen treatments to help the healing process. I've even quit smoking. Last week I was updated to find out that it was more stage 2 because out of the three lymph nodes that they took out during my double mastectomy two of them word cancerous. So at this time they have told me I should do chemotherapy and then radiation and then anti-estrogen therapy after I'm healed for my surgery. Witch only complicates my situation even more so now trying to find a job and deal with raising my 3 kids alone.

Between treatments, medical bills, and taking care of my children and home all alone, I'm struggling to make ends meet, especially with this situation at hand. I've always prided myself on being independent, but right now, I need a little help. My life has once again humbled me. I'm lost in this situation, looking to faith and the Lord's will to guide me through.

Every donation will go toward medical expenses, keeping the lights on, and other bills paid, and making sure my children are cared for while I start treatment and continue to focus on getting better. I plan to stick around for my babies. Lord knows I could never have them grow up without their mom; I know that pain all too well.
