<div>We were able to get Heidi in for surgery yesterday, 4/30/25. We dropped her off at the Animal Clinic at 5 a.m., where the surgery was performed. She is now home resting and will need to return in two weeks for additional care.

<div>Heidi will require extensive therapy, and our family deeply appreciates any further donations. I will continue to post updates as Heidi's recovery progresses.

<div>On 4/25/25, Heidi the Husky was hit by a car at 10 Mile and Mound in Warren. The driver fled, leaving her seriously injured.

<div>Heidi’s owner immediately got her to the vet, where it was found she has a badly broken leg that needs surgery.
</div>
<div>The surgery costs between $12,000 and $15,000.
</div>
