<div>As he was arriving home, he saw a stray dog walking along the road. Calm. Harmless. Just trying to survive another day. In that moment, a driver looking at his phone struck the dog and fled the scene without stopping.

<div>My brother saw it happen.

<div>The dog was left injured, limping, bleeding, and terrified. With no owner and nowhere to go, he would have been left there — but my brother couldn’t walk away.

<div>He immediately took him to the vet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Blood tests showed significant inflammation, and X-rays confirmed a fractured leg. The scans also revealed inflammation and a mass near the genital area, which now needs further investigation to determine whether it is something temporary or something more serious.

<div>This dog is a stray.
</div>
<div>No family.
</div>
<div>No safety net.
</div>

</div>
<div>So we became his.
</div>

</div>
<div>He now needs urgent surgery to repair the fractured leg, followed by further tests and recovery care. Emergency veterinary treatment comes at a high cost, and we are asking for help to give this dog a chance he would never have had otherwise.
