<div>Hi, my name is Michelle Kraus, and I am humbly asking for support for my parents during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced.

<div>Two weeks ago, my mom, Maggie, was in a horrific car accident caused by a driver under the influence of drugs. Her injuries are severe — she has a broken collarbone, left arm, right leg, ankle, and sternum, along with a fractured vertebra in her spine and internal injuries. She has already undergone five surgeries, and more are still ahead.

<div>The road to recovery will be long, painful, and expensive. In just these first two weeks, we’ve spent a great deal on travel, meals, and medical necessities so we can stay close to her and support her through every step. With so much still ahead, we’ve reached a point where we need to ask for help.

<div>Our family’s only focus right now is helping Mom heal — physically, emotionally, and mentally — and giving her the strength and support she needs to one day reclaim her independence. Any contribution, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to making that possible.
