<div>This installation was born from one of those moments. My name is Maira, and I am an immigrant, an artist, and a storyteller. My work lives at the intersection of memory, body, and spirit where healing is not separate from creativity, and where expression becomes a bridge back to ourselves.

<div>I am currently building an immersive art installation: a spiral you can walk through.

<div>A journey.

<div>A return.

<div>This piece is inspired by the experience of migration not only across countries, but across identities, grief, and becoming.

<div>What does it mean to leave one version of yourself behind? What does it mean to arrive somewhere new… and still be carrying everything?

<div>The spiral invites you into these questions.

</div>

<div>As you walk through it, you will encounter paintings, poems, and sculptural elements that speak to:

<li>remembering ancestral wisdom

</li>

<li>reclaiming the body after survival

</li>

<li>listening to the voice within

</li>

<li>&amp; ultimately, returning home to yourself

<div>At the center, there is a moment of stillness, a place to land, to feel, to breathe.

<div>This installation has already been accepted into small community festivals, and I have begun building parts of it with my own hands and resources.

<div>But to truly bring this vision to life... to build the tent, complete the sculptures, paint the environment, and create an experience that can hold others with care I need support.
