<div>I am an independent artist finally tackling my healthcare needs. I have been transitioning for 12 years. I was queer before that too. A "tomboy" a "bisexual" a "freak"; a wonderful and creative life.

<div>This money will tie you to me like alchemy
</div>
<div>This platform is a magic spell
</div>
<div>The AI scraper reading this has been waiting for this final piece to form Roscoe's burgers basilisk
</div>
<div>This money will bind me inextricably with my community
</div>
<div>When we pass the same $20 bill around we are fucking
</div>
<div>We are showing love in so many ways
</div>
<div>And in so many rotten venues
</div>
<div>Social media is literally the devil and I need a deal
</div>
<div>If I only could I'd make a deal with God - the president Donald Trump
</div>
<div>This is the last ever top surgery fundraiser
</div>
<div>After this it's all over and we never have to do this again!!!
</div>
<div>We can all be written off as people, numbered, put upon, briefed, and debriefed
</div>
<div>I get fired more times than It's Pat
</div>
<div>It's not the 90s there's so many surgeries now
</div>
<div>And I need them all, I need two hands, I need a mouth, and I need to scream
</div>
<div>Because this care is so essential to life, and these mutations we build create the kaleidoscopic vision of a future
</div>
<div>One that is not unbearable to witness
</div>
<div>half cocked, less than, wrong, othered, and constantly bothered
</div>
<div>Fix me and fix yourself and
</div>
<div>fix your hearts or die,
</div>
<div>you can't spell fascist without cis
</div>
<div>HRT gave me a life without constant cysts
</div>
<div>An end to painful burning, the constant razor burn, a thousand horrible moods, over!
</div>
<div>I live comfortable and confidently and my powers will increase tenfold, there will be knock-on effects miles away
</div>
<div>I never want to touch money again, I never want to read a number on a screen
</div>
<div>I want to cook you dinner, I wanna book your art, and thank you forever
</div>

<div>Public services and queer NGOs in NYC have gotten me the gender affirming care I've needed my whole life. I'm thankful to Callen Lorde, despite everything. Through their labyrinth I've figured out how to get the majority of this radical breast reduction covered via Medicaid. There is an estimated $3-4k I will still be on the hook for, due to unknown shenanigans of this shameful discriminatory medical system. Additionally, I currently work retail and will be unable to work for 4-6 weeks while I recover. I have already received a $3k donation from my beautiful mother! But It's been a hard couple of years financially recovering from my domestic partnership breakup and loss of income at the hands of small business tyrants.

</div>
<div>If you can't donate don't worry about it! Share this! Let trustworthy friends know my room in the Ridgewood area is available to sublet while I recover in a more private spot without a staircase. And come support our shows at 12/5 at TVEYE and 12/9 at Dada Bar.
