<div>Yes, our mum didn’t always choose the right path, but she always had me and Lilly in her heart, and family was everything to her.

<div>As some of you know, my mum wasn’t well during that week, and we had to make the hardest decision ever — but it was the right one for her. Surrounded by her brothers, auntie, cousin, sister-in-law, nephew, and her daughters, we all held her hand and let her sleep. She went up to heaven to be with her own mum — no doubt causing trouble together again, just like they always did in Hilltown when I was a wee girl.

<div>We wouldn’t change a thing about my mum or gran. They were a handful, but they were so, so loved by the whole family.
