<div>On Saturday, 11/29, more than 50 friends and family joined the Tomblins for Tayden’s Honor Walk, accompanying him from the UCLA ICU to the OneLegacy organ donation center. Hospital staff lined the hallways alongside loved ones, filling the space with quiet support as the family took this final walk with Tayden—both a heartbreaking goodbye and a moment to honor the life-saving gifts his organ donation will bring to others.

<div>Many described the procession as one of the most tragic yet profoundly beautiful experiences of their lives. The Tomblins, their extended family, and their friends continue to navigate immense grief, and they are finding strength in the compassion surrounding them.

<div>It is with an extremely heavy heart that I want to let you all know that 12th grader Tayden Tomblin passed away yesterday. Tayden suffered a head injury while skateboarding on Thanksgiving Eve, leading to his untimely and tragic death.

<div>Tayden was a member of the water polo and swim teams, was a part of the Entrepreneurship Academy, and had an incredibly bright future ahead of him. Tayden was also a proud member of the Culinary Arts Program.

<div>I spoke to his parents this morning and offered our deepest condolences during this extremely difficult time. My thoughts are with them, and all of you who knew Tayden and his family. It is a testament to his character that Tayden’s last act on earth was to serve as an organ donor.
