<div>Hi, my name is Sophie, and I've been given an incredible opportunity to travel to Sweden with the Fire Angel Leadership Foundation alongside 7 other Cadets from across the UK. I'm proud to be representing Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service on this expedition.

<div>During this expedition, we will be learning new skills, pushing our limits and facing new challenges, including camping in the snow for 5 nights. We travel to Sweden on the 15th February and return the following Saturday.
</div>

<div>As a part of this experience, all cadets are required to fundraise the cost of our plane tickets, which can cost up to £700. Any additional money raised will be donated to Alder Hey Children's Charity. 
</div>

<div>To help reach this goal, over the following months I will be taking part in a series of challenges, including a hike up Wales' highest mountain, Snowdon, a 10-mile walk along Liverpools water front and a series of fitness challenges. 
</div>

<div>This is such a rare and special opportunity, and I am so grateful for the Fire Angels team for offering me the chance to take part. I would be hugely appreciative of any support in helping me reach this goal!
