<div><strong> Fundraising Appeal: Let’s Stand With Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus)</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For years, Sitaram Kattel “Dhurmus” has given Nepal more than entertainment—
</div>
<div>he has given hope, dignity, and humanity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When earthquakes destroyed homes, he rebuilt communities.
</div>
<div>When families were suffering, he stood at the front lines.
</div>
<div>When Nepal dreamed of an international cricket stadium, he dared to make it real.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, that dream needs us more than ever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> The Situation</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The International Cricket Stadium in Chitwan—a project built with love, patriotism, and citizen participation—reached a point where financial challenges made it impossible for the Dhurmus Suntali Foundation to continue alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite completing nearly NRs. 59.90 crore of work, the project was slowed by:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unfulfilled donation pledges
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rising construction and material costs
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Unpaid dues to workers and suppliers
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The natural limitations of crowdfunding
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of these pressures, the project was handed over to Bharatpur Metropolitan City, which is now responsible for completing it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But the debts, commitments, and financial strain that arose during the foundation’s work still weigh heavily on Dhurmus.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Why Your Support Matters</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dhurmus never asked for anything when he was building homes, rebuilding lives, and serving the nation.
</div>
<div>Now, he is carrying a burden that does not belong to him alone—a burden created while doing something for the people of Nepal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your support can help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Clear the remaining debts associated with the foundation’s stadium work
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Bring fairness and relief to workers and suppliers still awaiting payment
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Restore peace of mind to a man who has always put others first
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Protect the legacy of true social service and national pride
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is our moment to say:
</div>
<div>“Dhurmus, you helped us. Now we help you.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> How You Can Help</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution—large or small—helps reduce the outstanding debt and brings Dhurmus closer to financial freedom.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You can help by:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donating any amount you can
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Creating community or online fundraising events
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Sharing this appeal widely on social media
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Encouraging friends, organizations, and diaspora groups to participate
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can lift this burden and protect the spirit of service that Dhurmus represents.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> A Call to Nepalis Everywhere</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Across Nepal and around the world, we have seen what unity can achieve.
</div>
<div>Now, that unity is needed once again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let us come together—
</div>
<div>to help clear the debt,
</div>
<div>to bring relief,
</div>
<div>and to honor a man who has contributed more than anyone could ask.
