<div>Krista is a mom. A wife. A daughter. A sister. A fighter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And right now — she's doing everything she can to stay alive for her children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This December, while many of us are preparing for holidays, Krista is in the middle of something no mother should ever face: choosing between life-saving treatments… and Christmas for her kids.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She has a son and a daughter who are still young, who still believe in magic, and who still look up at their mom like she’s the strongest person in the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And she is.
</div>
<div>But even the strongest need help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Diagnosis Changed Everything
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Krista's cancer is more aggressive. More complex. More frightening.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through this very fundraiser, we were able to access advanced genomic testing — and what we learned changed everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Krista has a rare genetic mutation that makes standard cancer treatments ineffective.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That means everything the system would normally offer simply won’t work for her body.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But this testing also revealed something hopeful:
</div>
<div>Alternative, targeted treatments exist that could extend her life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Treatments built just for her — based on her DNA, her body, and her unique battle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But they come with a heartbreaking catch:
</div>
<div>None of them are covered.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Only Path Forward
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Krista’s care now includes alternative immunotherapies, functional medicine, targeted supplementation, and advanced testing protocols — treatments she has to pay for out-of-pocket while still trying to show up every day as a mother, a wife, and a human being just trying to hold it all together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve used much of the original fundraising for the testing that gave us answers.
</div>
<div>Now we urgently need your help to fund the next phase of treatment — the one that could keep her here longer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why This Matters So Much Right Now
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Krista is at home, trying to make things feel normal.
</div>
<div>She’s decorating for the holidays between appointments.
</div>
<div>She’s wrapping gifts with tired hands and a body in pain.
</div>
<div>She’s protecting her kids from the weight of what’s really happening — while carrying it all herself.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She’s not giving up.
</div>
<div>She’s still fighting.
</div>
<div>But she cannot do it alone anymore.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How You Can Help
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donate: Every dollar goes directly to Krista’s life-saving treatment and recovery care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Share: Spreading her story can be just as powerful as donating.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Support: Every message matters. Every bit of love counts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Krista is doing what any mother would do — everything she possibly can to stay alive for her children.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please help us give her more time.
</div>
<div>More Christmas mornings.
</div>
<div>More milestones.
</div>
<div>More memories.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From our entire family — thank you.
</div>
<div>We are humbled by your kindness, your prayers, and your support.
</div>
<div>We are in the fight of our lives. And we’re so grateful you’re standing with us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love,
</div>
<div>Marla
