<div>My name is Lilieth, and I’m launching this fundraiser with a heavy heart and deep hope. My family have lived and worked in Galleon Beach, St. Elizabeth for nearly four decades. They are proud fishermen, rooted in a resilient community that now faces unimaginable loss. On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, tore through western Jamaica, leaving behind unimaginable destruction in Galleon Beach. Two lives were tragically lost, homes were flattened, businesses destroyed, and lives upended and forever changed.
