<div>The Secret Santa Run was created from a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated, especially at Christmas. What began as a festive mission to support families in need has grown into a heartfelt movement driven by compassion, community, and a desire to bring hope where it’s needed most.

<div>After discovering that 1 in 7 parents are unable to afford a Christmas gift for their child, and that over 2.34 million children in the UK face financial hardship, I knew I had to take action. Here in Leicester alone, over 40% of children live in poverty. There were more than 37,000 young lives affected in 2023, with the number rising every year.

<div>Inspired by the idea of an advent calendar that gives rather than receives, I have organised the delivering of gifts / food and support to families every day from December 1st to December 24th. But reaching out, I quickly realised that the need doesn’t simply end on Christmas Day.
</div>

<div>That is why I am committed not only to continuing The Secret Santa Run, but, with your help, growing it into something life-changing.
</div>

<div>With continued support, donations, and funding, The Secret Santa Run has the potential to grow into The Year-Round Santa Mission.
</div>
<div>This expansion will allow me to create monthly support packages, children's distraction packs, and year-round help for families across Leicester and Leicestershire.
</div>

<div>While this December’s mission continues, I am also working behind the scenes to set this up , ready to launch in the new year. The goal is to deliver the first official monthly packages at the end of January, and every month thereafter.
</div>

<div>I will be creating a simple, accessible system that will allow families to reach out confidentially, ensuring support reaches those who need it most. I will also be documenting the work done throughout December to show the impact this mission is already making.
</div>

<div>I am personally hand-delivering every gift and parcel, and this mission comes straight from the heart. I am deeply grateful to everyone who has donated items, shared kind words, or encouraged this work.
</div>

<div>Every contribution — no matter how small — helps a child smile, brings comfort to a family, and helps this mission grow into something that lasts far beyond the festive season.
