<div>As a disabled Air Force Veteran and nonprofit leader, I’ve spent my life serving Veterans, First Responders, and their families. I’ve poured my heart into lifting others up and building community.
</div>

</div>
<div>What’s hard for me to admit is that I don’t receive a paycheck for this work. I live on my VA disability income, which covers the basics but leaves little room for anything extra. Asking for help is humbling — but this season of life is teaching me that even those who give need to learn to receive.
</div>

<div>Why This Matters So Much
</div>

</div>
<div>My oldest son is an Air Force C-130 pilot. In January, he and his family moved to Germany. I have four grandchildren there who are growing up so quickly, and I miss them more than words can express.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In November, I’ll finally be flying to see them. This visit means everything to me:
</div>
<div>• Spending Thanksgiving together as a family
</div>
<div>• Meeting my new granddaughter for the very first time
</div>
<div>• Celebrating my grandson’s second birthday with him
</div>
<div>• Making up for lost time in play, laughter, and love with my two big girls
</div>
<div>• Hugging my son and his wife, and feeling that family closeness again
</div>

</div>
<div>I’ve secured my ticket, but I’m still paying it off. Travel itself brings added costs — food, transportation, and those inevitable unexpected expenses that come with international trips. With your support, I’ll be able to focus fully on being present with my son, my daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, instead of worrying over every dollar.
