Your kindness gave us the strength and means to navigate a very difficult time. Thanks to you, TJ was able to travel to Boston and undergo a specialized embolization procedure to treat his rare and aggressive spinal hemangioma.

<div>This week, they received difficult news: TJ’s T12 vertebra has completely collapsed, His medical team has now scheduled a major spinal reconstruction surgery for August 27th.

</div>

<div>TJ will undergo a spinal surgery. This is a complex and high-risk surgery. TJ will be in the hospital for 4–5 days, followed by a 10–14 day stay in Boston for recovery, monitoring, and pain management. After returning home, he will begin physical therapy as part of his healing process.
