<div><strong>17-year-old Frida’s dream was shattered in just a few hours  — help her get back in the saddle</strong>
</div>
<div>We are writing this as Frida’s family, and it is the hardest thing we’ve ever had to write.
</div>

<div>In January 2025, Frida’s biggest dream came true when she got her dream horse, Hamilton. In just four months, they became an amazing partnership and already achieved great results together: their first national competitions, Frida’s first M-level show, ECCO Cup qualification, and the Danish Championships. It was only the beginning of their journey together.

<div>But everything changed so suddenly during the Danish Championships.
</div>

</div>
<div>Early Sunday morning, Frida found Hamilton critically ill in his stall. There was bloody diarrhea, he was violently shaking, and completely out of himself. The vet was called immediately, but even before help arrived, Hamilton suffered severe seizures and collapsed.
</div>

</div>
<div>Sadly, there was nothing that could be done, and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go right there in the stabling area 
</div>

</div>
<div>Within just a few hours, Frida lost her heart horse, her partner, and the dream they had only just begun building together.
</div>

</div>
<div>Riding has always been Frida’s greatest passion, and although the grief is overwhelming right now, she dreams of returning to the sport when she’s ready. With this fundraiser, we hope to help her get back in the saddle and give her the chance to continue the journey that she and Hamilton had just started.

<div>Vi skriver her som familie til Frida, og det er det sværeste, vi har skulle skrive.

<div>I januar 2025 fik Frida sin drømmehest, Hamilton. På bare fire måneder blev de et fantastisk makkerpar, og sammen nåede de allerede store resultater: deres første nationale stævner, Fridas første M-klasse, ECCO Cup-kvalifikation og DM. Det var kun begyndelsen på deres fælles rejse.

<div>Men under DM-stævnet ændrede alt sig pludseligt.

<div>Tidligt søndag morgen fandt Frida fandt Hamilton alvorligt syg i sin boks. Han havde blodig afføring, rystede voldsomt og var helt ude af sig selv. Dyrlægen blev straks tilkaldt, men allerede inden hjælpen nåede frem, fik Hamilton voldsomme kramper og kollapsede.

<div>Der var desværre intet, der kunne gøres, og vi måtte tage den ubærlige beslutning at give ham fred midt i teltstalden

<div>På få timer mistede Frida sin hjertehest, sin makker og den drøm, de kun lige var begyndt at bygge sammen.
</div>

<div>Ridningen har altid været Fridas store passion, og selvom sorgen lige nu er enorm, drømmer hun om at kunne vende tilbage til sporten, når hun er klar. Med denne indsamling håber vi at kunne hjælpe hende tilbage i sadlen og give hende muligheden for at fortsætte den rejse, som hun og Hamilton kun nåede at begynde.
