<div>We are FRC team #3182, Athena’s Warriors 4-H Robotics Club, a non-profit community <em>FIRST</em> Robotics Competition team of high-school kids from the Greater Hartford area, CT.

<div><em>FIRST</em>, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, has a mission to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators. It accomplishes this mission by engaging students in exciting mentor-based programs that build STEM skills, inspire innovation, and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

<div>Since 2010, Athena’s Warriors has served as an outlet for students from around the Greater Hartford area to explore STEM education, projects and careers, while taking part in local robotics competitions, developing a business plan and participating in community outreach. Our team is comprised of aspiring high-school electrical and mechanical engineers, programmers, project managers, business and marketing leaders, and more. Being part of the team provides the students exposure to meaningful real-life experience, life-long friendships and opportunities to give back to the community.

<div>The team is entirely self-run and funded by sponsor donations and in-kind donations. Our participation in various competitions across the country is dependent on the amount of funding we receive every year. The team must pay registration fees, order custom-made parts, marketing materials, pay for travel and other expenses.
