<div>Less than 10 days ago, my girl was diagnosed with Oral Fibrosarcoma, a very aggressive type of cancer that grows very fast in the mouth. Surgery, when possible, and radiotherapy is the best way to treat the tumor and prolong the dog’s life. Unfortunately in Greece radiotherapy is not yet available. The decision was made quickly and we drove all the way to Slovenia where we had CT scans done to see how much the bone was invaded and if there is any metastases. Luckily the damage inside was not that bad so my girl underwent a surgery on Thursday where they cut her upper jaw and is now recovering. We wait for the results of the histopathology to see how we will go on and we will need another CT after a couple of weeks.

<div>The costs are crazy. CTs and surgery until now cost a little more than 5000€ and the radiotherapy will be another 5000€, let alone the second CT and all the costs to go back and forth to Slovenia.

<div>Lisa was happy until the moment we went for the surgery. She was running, playing, eating and enjoying life as always, despite the big tumor in her mouth that was growing day by day and just in a week, it shallowed all her front teeth causing her pain. 
</div>
<div>There was no way to give up on her but at the same time I can’t afford all these costs. So I am asking for your help. I never thought I would ever need a fundraiser and also never imagined that we would go through this. I am devastated.
