The region’s largest rebel group is intensifying its efforts to seize control of Goma, the city at the heart of the crisis. Since last year, over 7 million people have been displaced, and the violence shows no sign of stopping. Thousands of families are forced to flee, often with nothing more than the clothes on their backs, as they escape the relentless fighting between armed forces and rebel groups.
