<div>The extreme weather driving heatwaves and wildfires across Europe is part of the same global <strong>El Niño pattern</strong> causing this devastating drought in Uganda. Prolonged drought has destroyed crops, depleted water sources, and left thousands of families without food. Tragically, lives have already been lost to hunger.

<div><a href="https://www.kara-tunga.com/about" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kara-Tunga</a> is a community tourism organization based right here in the region. We live and work alongside these communities every day. We see the severe hunger firsthand, and we listen to families sharing their struggles.
