<div>Wir werden Teil der VOLLGUT Genossenschaft und ziehen ins Herz von Neukölln, wo wir unsere zukünftigen Räumlichkeiten nach unseren Bedürfnissen entwickeln und eingebettet in den Kiez das dortige Kulturleben mitgestalten.

<div>Für den Rettungsplan der filmArche starten wir diese Kampagne und brauchen bis Ende Februar 2025 für unseren letzten Anteil an Eigenkapital 30.000€ – dann haben wir die nötigen 100.000€ zusammen!

<div><strong>Wer wir sind</strong>
</div>
<div>Die filmArche e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein und Europas größte selbstorganisierte Filmschule.
</div>
<div>Seit über 20 Jahren gestalten wir diesen einzigartigen diversen Ausbildungsort. Als bilinguale Filmschule (DE/EN) bieten wir ein dreijähriges Studium in den Fachbereichen Regie, Kamera, Montage, Produktion, Drehbuch und Dokumentarfilmregie. Jedes Jahr werden rund 40 (Kurz-)Filme vom Drehbuch bis zur Post-Produktion unter unserem Dach gefertigt. Zusätzlich organisieren wir regelmäßig öffentliche Workshops, Screenings und Diskussionsrunden und arbeiten in internationalen Kooperationsprojekten.

<div>Die filmArche ist nun Teil des Vollgut-Projekts, das die ehemalige Neuköllner „Kindl“-Brauerei in einen sozial und ökologisch nachhaltigen Kultur- und Gewerbestandort verwandeln wird. Wir freuen uns auf die zukünftige Zusammenarbeit mit den anderen Beteiligten der Genossenschaft, u.a. Queeres Archivzentrum QuArZ, artistania e.V., SchwuZ, Cadus e.V., Zuhause e.V. und vielen anderen!

<div>Als Mitglied von Vollgut können wir der filmArche einen Mietvertrag sichern, der nicht profitorientiert ist, außerdem wird die filmArche barriereärmer und bekommt erstmalig ein eigenes Filmstudio!

<div>Als Eigenkapital für die Genossenschaft benötigen wir 100.000€. Hinzu kommen Kosten für unseren Innenausbau und Umzug. Um diese Summen zu stemmen, setzen wir auf Förderungen, Direktkredite und Spenden.

<div>Our rent has risen by 40% in recent years and our lease at Neukölln's industrial area is due to expire in the next 4 years. Therefore, filmArche is urgently looking for a new and secure location.

<div><strong>The good news is - we have a plan!</strong>

<div>We will become part of the VOLLGUT cooperative and move to the heart of Neukölln, where we will develop our future premises according to our needs and actively contribute to the cultural life of the neighbourhood.

<div>We are launching this campaign for the filmArche rescue plan and need €30,000 for our last share of equity by the end of February 2025 - then we will have the necessary €100,000 together!

<div><strong>Who we are</strong>
</div>
<div>filmArche e.V. is a non-profit association and Europe's largest self-organised film school. We have been organising this unique and diverse education centre for over 20 years. As a bilingual film school (DE/EN), we offer a three-year programme in the fields of directing, cinematography, editing, production, screenwriting and documentary film directing. Every year, around 40 (short) films are made under our roof, from screenplay to post-production. In addition, we regularly organise public workshops, screenings and discussion panels and work on international cooperation projects.

<div>We finance ourselves exclusively through our membership fees, public events, and occasional project funding.

<div><strong>What we are up to</strong>
</div>
<div>The filmArche is now part of the Vollgut project, which will transform the former Neukölln "Kindl" brewery into a socially and ecologically sustainable cultural and commercial location. We look forward to future collaboration with the other participants in the cooperative, including Queer Archive Centre QuArZ, artistania e.V., SchwuZ, Cadus e.V., Zuhause e.V. and many others!

<div>As a member of Vollgut, we can secure a lease for filmArche that is not profit-orientated, and filmArche will also be more accessible and will finally have its own film studio!

<div><strong>How we realise this</strong>

<div>We need €100,000 as equity capital for the cooperative. There will be additional costs for our interior design and relocation. To cover these amounts, we are relying on grants, direct loans, and donations.

<div><strong>Qui sommes-nous?</strong>

<div>filmArche e.V. est une association à but non lucratif et la plus grande école de cinéma autogérée en Europe. Depuis plus de 20 ans, nous façonnons collectivement un espace d'apprentissage et de formation unique, qui fonctionne différemment des écoles de cinéma publiques. En tant qu'école de cinéma bilingue (allemand/anglais), nous proposons un programme de trois ans dans les départements de la réalisation de fiction et de documentaire, de l’image, du montage, de la production et de scénario. Chaque année, une quarantaine de courts-métrages sont produits sous notre toit, du scénario à la post-production, et sont diffusés internationalement. De plus, nous organisons régulièrement des ateliers publics, des projections et des tables rondes et participons à des projets de coopération internationale.

<div>Nous sommes exclusivement financés par les cotisations de nos membres, les événements publics et le financement occasionnel de projets.

<div>filmArche fait désormais partie du projet VOLLGUT, qui transformera l'ancienne brasserie "Kindl" à Neukölln en un lieu culturel et commercial durable d'un point de vue social et écologique. Nous nous réjouissons de nos futures collaborations avec les autres participants de la coopérative, notamment Queeres Archivzentrum QuArZ (le Centre d’Archives Queer), artistania e.V., SchwuZ.
