<div>Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m opening my heart to ask for support as I enter the final leg of a 7-year-long custody battle for my son.

</div>

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’m a mother to the most incredible 8-year-old boy — bright, funny, cuddly, and wise beyond his years. He’s my greatest joy and deepest motivation. For years, I’ve been fighting for something simple and fair: 50/50 custody. Equal time. A balanced, loving life for my child.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This journey has tested me — emotionally, financially, and spiritually.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Why I’m Reaching Out Now

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The final stages of this process are here. I have an arbitration hearing set for September, and I need to raise $14,000 to cover legal fees, mediation costs, and final preparations. This will allow me to bring forward my case with clarity, strength, and integrity — not just for me, but for my son.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Asking for help in this way is vulnerable. But it’s not rooted in shame, it’s rooted in open and honest truth.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’ve faced:

</div>

<div>•	The collapse of my small business due to significant financial hardship during the pandemic
</div>

<div>•	Periods of housing insecurity where I had to rely on family to stay afloat

</div>

<div>•	A high-conflict relationship that left me emotionally and financially depleted

</div>

<div>•	In 2021, I experienced a significant mental health challenge. During this time, custody shifted, and I’ve spent the past few years focusing on my healing, growth, and rebuilding stability for myself and my son.

</div>

<div>•	A prolonged, painful, and deeply unjust family court process that continues to drain my resources and delay resolution

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Despite it all, I’ve shown up. I’ve rebuilt. I’ve parented with calm and patience and love. I’ve prayed. I’ve stayed the course. But I can’t finish this alone.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This Is a Call for Support

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Not just financial support, but emotional and spiritual support too.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I believe in community. I believe in the power of being held when we are tired. I believe in cycles of giving and receiving — and I’ve come to understand that receiving is just as sacred as giving.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Whether you can contribute financially or simply share this with someone who might be moved to help, I receive it all with gratitude.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And if you’ve ever gone through something like this — and come out the other side — I honour you. Your support means more than I can express

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>A New Chapter

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’ve let go of what no longer serves me and now, I’m stepping into this next chapter with openness, humility, and hope.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’ve been quietly creating a peaceful, stable life for my child. And I’m ready to let this final part of the battle be supported — not just carried alone.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for being part of this moment. Thank you for holding space for me. Thank you for believing in mothers like me who just want what’s right.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>With love and deep gratitude,

</div>

<div>Sarah
