<div>My name is Shadreen Nicholson, and I’m originally from Jamaica (Spanish Town, St.Catherine), now living in New York. Like many of you reading this, you were either born in Jamaica, have Jamaican roots, or have spent time on the island, falling in love with its people, culture, and beauty.

<div>In late October 2025, Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, struck western Jamaica, devastating communities across Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and St. Elizabeth. Many families have lost their homes and belongings and are now struggling without food, clean water, or essential supplies.

<div>Why We’re Raising Funds

<div>My family and I have organized this fundraiser to provide direct relief to those most affected. We have trusted family members and local community partners on the ground who will help us distribute supplies directly to those in need.
