<div>Picture this, your loved ones are injured and bleeding heavily, as little as 3 minutes away from death. Your heart is racing, you are in a panic and you are untrained.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Would you know what to do?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Would you act?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Would you be able to save their life?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, I'm Scott.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The founder, designer and engineer behind Scotseal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Scotseal, was the final major project of my degree, which has now become an award winning, emergency medical device. Designed for Zero-Responders (members of the general public, often untrained and inexperienced) to tackle major blood loss injury, &amp; replace bleed control kits, the current method available to the public. These kits contain Tourniquets, Haemostatic Gauze &amp; Chest Seals, all of which require prior training and experience.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This innovative product, will allow ‘YOU’ to save the life’s of others without training, medical knowledge or experience, in 4 simple steps and only 2-4 seconds.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Simply…
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Peel seal 1 &amp; place over the wound.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Pull seal 2, press down &amp; twist. (This primes the device)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Pull number 3, It is now live. (Similar to pulling the pin on a grenade)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then Press down!!!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This triggers an element within the pod, which mimics the exact shape and form of the wound. Meaning that wherever the rupture, or multiple ruptures are located. The self-seeking nature of the device finds them and provides direct pressure to the source, stopping any loss of blood &amp; keeping them alive until medical help arrives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>... but now I need your help to get it the rest of the way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Help me cover the costs of Intellectual Property, Consumables/Material costs for further developing this project in the lab, taking the steps towards cadaver testing &amp; starting the regulatory process involved with producing a medical product.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>By contributing your donation to this project, you acknowledge that your donation is made voluntarily and in good faith, to support this project. All contributions are final and non-refundable.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With your help, this device can be out in the real world, potentially saving your life or the lives of others close to you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every second counts, when your bleeding out.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lets make this happen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Scott
