<div>Our community in the north metro, including families connected to the Spring Lake Park School District, is facing a quiet but very real crisis.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Over the past weeks, an increased ICE presence has created fear, disruption, and sudden instability for many of our neighbors. Families are staying home because leaving the house feels unsafe. Parents are unable to work. Children are missing school routines. Families who were already living close to the edge are now struggling to meet their most basic needs — not because they don’t want to work, but because circumstances beyond their control have taken that choice away.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>This fundraiser exists to help in a very practical, human way.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds raised here will go directly toward essential needs for people in our local community who need it most: groceries, rent, utilities, transportation, and other necessities that keep families safe and stable during this period. These are not abstract problems; they are choices no family should have to make, like whether to buy food or keep the lights on.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Many of the individuals and families we aim to support are deeply rooted here.</strong> They are parents of children in our schools. They are neighbors you pass at the grocery store, wave to at pickup, or sit next to at school events. They contribute to this community every day, and right now, they need the community to show up for them.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Every dollar raised will be used carefully and intentionally to support those experiencing the greatest hardship.</strong> This effort is grounded in trust, discretion, and compassion. No one is asking for charity; they are asking for a bridge to get through an extraordinary moment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’re looking for a tangible way to help, this is it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donation, no matter the size, can help a family buy groceries for the week, keep a roof over their heads, or make it through another day with dignity and hope intact. And if you’re unable to give financially, sharing this page is also a powerful way to support your neighbors.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is about community taking care of community — quietly, respectfully, and with humanity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for standing with those who need it most right now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As we want to comply with all the GoFundMe's requirements please note that the funds are being distributed daily to the local families that have requested assistance through several avenues: word of mouth through family and friends, social workers, and family liaisons. Many have children who are fellow students in our local schools.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are transferring the funds in several ways to assist recipients in the easiest way possible which include checks, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, including paying bills directly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The support and contributions from 165+ donors is beyond amazing. Through this difficult time the one shining light has been people from all over stepping up to make a difference in our community.
