<div>My name is Esraa, a girl from The Strip. I have been living in Egypt for the past three years, pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. Despite the hardships of being far from home and having very limited resources, I remained dedicated to my studies.

<div>But five months ago, everything changed — I lost my entire family in the recent assault. I now stand alone in this world.

<div>Even through this indescribable pain, I have not lost hope. I still hold on to my dream — not just for myself, but to become a healer for those who suffer, and to carry a message of compassion in the name of those I’ve lost.

I still have 6 years left to complete my medical degree. Additionally, I need only $130 a month to cover my most basic living expenses — food, shelter, and simple study needs.
