Baumaterialien (Kies, Sand, Farbe, etc.)

Benzin-Gutscheine oder Maschinenverleih

Pflanze, Bäume oder Blumenspenden

Abreitszeitspenden, freiwillige Helfer und Bau-, Pflege- und Pflanzaktionen, Handwerksbetriebe, die Arbeitszeit oder Maschinen bereitstellen.

_____

Dear families and friends of the Lohnteich,

The Lohnteich is, for many of us, much more than just a beautiful place – it is a piece of home, a place full of childhood memories, a little bit of vacation right on our doorstep.

However, the years have not passed by without leaving their marks: the playground equipment has aged, the circular path urgently needs a solid surface, the beach and volleyball courts are missing fresh sand, and the trees and surrounding areas require a lot of care.

To ensure that we can continue to enjoy the Lohnteich carefree in the future, we would like to renew and beautify the area around the pond together with you.

The goal is to make the Lohnteich and its surroundings more attractive, safer, and more sustainable through the following measures:

• Reinforcement of the circular path

• Renewal of the playground equipment

• Redesign of the beach area

• Maintenance and preservation of the trees

• Refilling the sand for the volleyball courts and beach

• Providing funds for fuel, maintenance, and equipment

The funds will help ensure that the playground equipment receives a fresh coat of paint and, if necessary, is replaced.

For the circular path, we need money for materials such as gravel, crushed stone, and rollers. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to access the area with large machines, so we’ll have to complete the work together through many volunteer efforts — and with lots of wheelbarrows!

The redesign of the beach area includes cleaning the sand with tractors (loosening the soil with a tiller and roller, as well as shaping the edges with a plow).

We will also secure the shoreline, order fresh sand, and refill it to extend the beach area by about 5 to 10 meters — as it originally used to be.

Ongoing costs include fuel and maintenance for tractors, brush cutters, stages, trailers, etc.

Donations in kind would be wonderful! We need:

• Building materials (gravel, sand, paint, etc.)

• Fuel vouchers or machine rentals

• Plant, tree, or flower donations

We also welcome donations of working time, volunteer helpers for construction, maintenance, and planting projects, as well as local tradespeople who can contribute labor or provide equipment.
