<div>For over 15 years, this village has been home to multiple families, elders, and children dedicated to preserving and sharing Rastafari and Indigenous culture. It has grown into a unique space for cultural exchange, education, healing, and community-based living, welcoming visitors from around the world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, the future of this community is uncertain. The aftermath of Hurricane Melissa caused severe damage to the village and we have been engaged in restoring and retrofitting ever since. As a result, the landowners—also impacted—now need to sell the property. Without immediate action, the community risks losing not just land, but a deeply rooted cultural home that cannot easily be replaced.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The landowners have offered the community a chance to purchase the property for $66,000 USD, creating a rare opportunity to secure the village’s future. This effort is about more than land ownership—it is about protecting families, preserving culture, and building resilience against future challenges.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Located near Montego Bay, the property spans approximately two acres and serves as a space for gatherings, education, ceremonies, and sustainable living. Securing the land will allow the community to rebuild safely, strengthen infrastructure, and ensure long term stability for generations to come.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why This Matters Now
</div>
<div>The timeline is urgent. Funds are needed immediately to secure the land before hurricane season begins and before the opportunity is lost. Without support, the community may be displaced and unable to recover in time for future storms.
</div>

<div>How You Can Help
</div>
<div>Your contribution will help:
</div>
<div>• Secure permanent land for the community
</div>
<div>• Protect families, elders, and children
</div>
<div>• Preserve a unique cultural and educational space
</div>
<div>• Support rebuilding and storm resilience
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, big or small, makes a difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this campaign can help extend its reach and impact.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can help protect this community, its culture, and its future.
