<div>Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I live in Gothenburg, Sweden. I am starting this fundraiser <strong>for my relatives and their neighbors in Northern Sumatra, Indonesia</strong>, who have been <strong>severely affected by Cyclone Ditwah and the catastrophic flooding that followed</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I still have many family members living in the affected areas. Their homes have been destroyed, entire neighborhoods are underwater, and <strong>they currently have no reliable access to food, clean water, or medical care.</strong> I am incredibly grateful that my relatives are alive, but they have lost everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One of the most urgent needs right now is<strong> my uncle</strong>, who requires medical care that local clinics cannot provide. Because the flooding has cut off all road access, he <strong>must be transported between hospitals by boat, and medical specialists cannot reach him</strong> where he is. These transports are essential but very costly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This disaster has also deeply affected my <strong>cousin</strong> <strong>Zulvi</strong>, who just lost his home for the second time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 2004, he survived the devastating Aceh tsunami as a child.
</div>
<div>Only he and his mother lived.
</div>
<div>His mother lost the baby twins she was holding when the wave hit, and his father died while protecting him from a collapsing roof.
</div>
<div>After rebuilding his life from that tragedy, he is now facing yet another catastrophe — his home swept away again by the floodwaters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My cousin, <strong>Mifta Fariz</strong>, based in Medan, and his organization <strong>Fokus Rehabilitasi Narkotika Indonesia</strong>, are working on the ground <strong>distributing clean water, food, and basic emergency supplies</strong>. They have a domestic donation page, but it is difficult for international donors to support them directly. That is why I’m raising funds here — to help both my relatives and their wider community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How the funds will be used:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations will go directly toward:
</div>
<div><strong>•	Emergency food and clean drinking water</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>•	Temporary shelter materials, such as tarps, bedding, and clothing</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>•	Medical transport and treatment for my uncle, including boat transport to hospitals</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>•	Support for local relief teams, including fuel, food distribution, and clean water delivery</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will personally transfer the funds to my relatives and to my cousin’s organization to ensure the money reaches those who need it the most.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any contribution — no matter the size — will help families survive this devastating situation. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
