<div>Crissy was home alone with her three children — ages 12, 10, and 7 — and a 12 year old friend who was sleeping over. Avi, her husband, was away working his night shift in Austin. As the water surged into the house, Crissy had only moments to react. The family was rescued in the dark by a brave neighbor who woke them up, just before the house, their car, and everything they owned were washed away.
