<div>Mitte 2024 hat unser geliebtes Auto leider mit Motorschaden den Geist aufgegeben. Seitdem haben wir ein Auto leihweise von den Schwiegereltern bekommen. Wir benötigen aber dringend ein eigenes. Zum einen natürlich für den Weg zur Arbeit, größtenteils aber für den Transport unserer mehrfach schwerstbehinderten Tochter Emma. Sie hat einen seltenen Gendefekt namens SCN2A. Dieser löst eine schwere Epilepsie und Entwicklungsverzögerung aus.

<div>Emma ist 2019 geboren und lernt grade zu laufen. Sie braucht allerdings viel Hilfe, schafft nur kurze Strecken und es gibt auch Tage, wo sie einfach gar nicht laufen kann. Sie hat ebenso eine Gangstörung. Im Februar wird sie (zum vierten Mal) an der Hüfte operiert, danach wird sie nur getragen werden können für einige Zeit. Emma wird vermutlich immer gehbehindert bleiben und wird zukünftig auch einen Rollstuhl benötigen. <strong>Wir brauchen</strong> also <strong>entweder ein behindertengerechtes Auto, eines das sich umbauen lässt oder eines, bei dem zumindest der Kofferraum so groß ist, dass ein Rollstuhl hineingestellt werden kann</strong>.

<div>Modelle gibt es viele, derzeit haben wir (auch aufgrund des fehlenden Budgets) noch keines im Blick. Wir versuchen nun erstmal in den nächsten Monaten das Geld zusammenzubekommen und dann gucken wir, was sich ergibt.

<div>P.S. Da wir das Gesicht unserer Tochter nicht auf Social Media teilen, haben wir z.B. ein Bild von ihr von hinten genommen, wie sie versucht eine Treppe zu erklimmen. Treppe steigen macht ihr ebenfalls Probleme, aber sie ist eine absolute Kämpfernatur und übt und übt und übt.... :-)
