<div>I am launching this fundraiser to help my boyfriend and his Ecuadorian family. Following an earthquake, parts of their house collapsed. The repair costs amount to $29,435 USD.

<div>This house is not like any other. 30 years ago, this family of artists from the Amazon transformed their home into a true work of art, a cabinet of curiosities and a cultural center. This place is unique and has become legendary in Ecuador. It is a true symbol of freedom of expression and supports many artists who come to perform at this cultural center. It is even listed in Lonely Planet guidebooks and others.

<div>Unfortunately, after knocking on every door and seeking all possible assistance, the most dramatic solution is being considered: closing down... So I decided to create this GoFundMe to give them one last chance.

<div>Je lance cette cagnotte pour venir en aide à mon copain et sa famille équatorienne. Suite à un tremblement de terre, des parties de leur maison se sont effondrées. Les frais de réparation s’élèvent à 25 000€ (29 435 dollars américains ici en Équateur).

<div>Cette maison n’est pas une maison comme les autres. Il y a 30 ans, cette famille d’artistes venant d’Amazonie, a transformé son lieu de vie en véritable oeuvre d’art, en cabinet de curiosité et en centre culturel. Ce lieu est unique et est devenu légendaire en Équateur. Il est un véritable symbole de liberté d’expression et contribue au soutien de nombreux artistes qui viennent se produire dans ce centre culturel. Il est même référencé dans le guide du Routard et le Lonely Planet.
