Menschen mit schwerer oder sehr schwerer ME <strong>sind häufig so schwer erkrankt, dass sie bettlägerig sind, nicht mehr selbst kochen oder teilweise sogar essen oder sich waschen können.</strong> Jede Überanstrengung kann zu einem Crash führen, der eine dauerhafte Verschlechterung des Zustandes bedeuten kann. <strong>Trotzdem erhalten sie oft keine schnelle Hilfe, die sie dringend benötigen.</strong>

Sie brauchen sofortige Unterstützung, um eine Verschlechterung ihres Zustands zu verhindern, die in einem lebensbedrohlichen Crash enden kann.

Those with severe or very severe ME <strong>are often bedridden, unable to cook, eat, or wash themselves. </strong>Every bit of overexertion can lead to a crash that causes permanent deterioration. <strong>Yet they often receive no timely help, even though immediate support is crucial.</strong>

<div>In Germany, for example, there is theoretically government support for people with disabilities – but in practice, the system fails:
