<div><strong>David's three children - Natalie, Isabelle and Gregory - have set up this donation page for all who would like to commemorate our beloved father's life with a donation to a charity that meant a lot to him: the </strong><a href="https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Woodland Trust</strong></a><strong>.</strong>

<div>The Woodland Trust is the largest woodland conservation charity in the United Kingdom, concerned with the creation, protection, and restoration of native woodland heritage.

<div>Many of you will know what a dedicated conservationist David was - not least with his volunteer work on Bagshot Heath. He was a member of many conservation organisations, but we've opted for the Woodland Trust, which he supported pretty much since its foundation.

<div>We are hoping to raise enough money to dedicate an acre of new woodland to his memory, complete with a memorial plaque. This would be in Stratton Wood near Swindon.
