<div>“My Beau, Bo is important to me because it is based on my grandparents. I’ve only heard about my grandpa and late grandma being ballroom dancers, but I’ve never actually witnessed it. That is, until he danced at a party. Seeing my grandpa, who is normally grumpy, smile as he danced brought my mom and I close to tears. Ever since then, I wanted to make a film that would reflect that feeling and honor my grandparents.”
