<div>Two days ago, Lyra started acting weird, then I noticed a lump on her neck. This has happened once before, and my uncle (Robert, bless his soul) helped me pay for the surgery to get the abscess drained.

<div>She has a lot of loose skin and muscles in her neck, and it’s easy for small particles to get stuck in her cheek and work their way into her neck tissues.

<div>That price includes : blood work, sedation, injections, surgery and medicine.

<div>I am 19 years old, raising my 14-year-old sister, and I am already in debt. I can’t get a credit card, and I can’t get approved for any loans, even pet care related.

<div><strong>This is genuinely my last resort and I love my dog more than anything in the world.</strong> I do not <em>want</em> to surrender her, but <em>if </em>that is my only option, I will do what I need to do to keep her alive. If you’re a dog owner, you know how it feels. She’s my soulmate, my emotional support animal, and my baby.
