My name is Christopher Mejia and together with my family, we are on a mission close to our hearts: to provide groceries to 100 families in need in Jaiquí Picado, Dominican Republic by December 2025. Jaiquí Picado is considered a rural zone where there are a lot of families in need. Where basic needs such as water or power are scarce.

<div>Each family will receive a bag filled with essential food items — rice, beans, lentils, a can of sardines, 2 cans of tuna, 2 cans of tomato paste, 2 packets of hot chocolate, 8 packets of sazón seasoning, salt, spaghetti, pasta sauce, oil, brown sugar, one can of evaporated milk, 2 packets of ramen noodles, and a corn muffin mix. Each bag costs about $26 to put together, but the impact is priceless.
