<div>Hello, my name is Aric. I used to be a professional fighter and reality TV star, but I lost everything in my life to drugs and alcohol. In my addiction, I did a lot of things I wasn’t proud of and eventually found myself homeless.

<div>After years of struggling and almost losing my life several times, I was given the chance to enter a program instead of going to prison. It was called Drug Court. At the time, I had no family and was very suicidal — but I figured I would try one last time before giving up. That was four and a half years ago.

<div>Since then, my life has completely changed. I’ve gotten sober, worked full-time at Nevada’s largest second-chance company, and partnered with several programs to help people just like me get back on their feet.

<div>Now, I’ve reached a point I never thought possible: I’m purchasing my dream sober living home — a safe, beautiful place where people in recovery can rebuild their lives. I’ve gotten everything lined up, but I need some help covering the down payment and basic furniture for the residents who will be living there.

<div>I’ve never asked for money before. But many people in recovery have reminded me that I don’t have to do everything alone — that it’s okay to ask for help. So here I am, humbly reaching out to my community.
