<div>We are a group of neighbors raising money to support a Somerville family recently impacted by an ICE abduction. On September 20th, Fernando was abducted by ICE agents outside of his home in East Somerville, and is currently being detained in Arizona.

<div>Before his abduction, Fernando was working in Somerville to support his family here in Somerville, including his sister, Flavia, her husband, and their two children, ages 6 and 18. They have lived in Somerville for many years, and are active participants in their community.

<div>We are calling on our community to show up for Fernando and his family in this terrifying moment. They need financial support to survive the sudden loss of Fernando’s income. All funds will go directly to the family, and will go towards Fernando’s legal fees, as well as rent and other household bills so that Flavia and her family can continue living their lives as members of our Somerville community.
