<div>While thousands of City fans across the country know Don as the man who made over 400 appearances for the Bluebirds – among them that night against Real Madrid at Ninian Park – to us, he’s our beloved Husband,father and Grampy. It was awful news when he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia, and as a disease that gets worse over time, Don is now unable to care for himself, requiring round-the-clock assistance.

<div>Dementia with Lewy bodies is a type of dementia that can lead on to Parkinson’s, characterised by changes in sleep, behaviour, cognition, movement and regulation of automatic bodily functions.

<div>The Murray family are encouraging supporters and friends to donate towards Don’s daily welfare and ongoing care. We wish to say a special thank you to all the truly amazing fans and friends who have already been in touch with us to offer support.
