Throughout my years of civil service, I’ve always believed in giving back, building communities, and helping others in their time of need. Today, my country is facing one of its darkest moments — and I’m asking for your help.

<div><strong>Category Five Hurricane Melissa has left a trail of unimaginable destruction across Jamaica.</strong> Homes have been reduced to rubble, entire communities are cut off, and thousands of families have lost everything — their shelter, possessions, and access to clean water, food, and electricity.

<div>As someone who has spent a lifetime serving others, I feel a deep responsibility to act. After careful consideration, discussions, and planning with persons on the ground, I have decided to launch a GoFundMe. This GoFundMe aims to provide urgent relief to those most affected by the storm — helping supply food, toiletries, medical aid, temporary shelter, and rebuilding materials to families and communities devastated by this disaster.

<div>The Government of Jamaica has approved a 30-day Tax Waiver, effective October 29, 2025, to November 28, 2025, on specific goods being imported by the general public for recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa.
