<div>This year, we are honouring Des Connolly for his service to the club.

<div>Aside from being the club treasurer, a member of our committee and the hundreds of hours spent working behind the scenes, Dessie managed our Sunday side for the best part of a decade.
</div>

<div>Dessie took over the then U14s and brought them all the way to senior football, spending 5 years as the senior manager.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In that time, he brought the John Giles Cup back to The Parish, reached the final of the Dalton Cup and O'Neills Cup before leading the Sundays to 2 promotions, leaving them in Premier Sunday.
</div>

</div>
<div>Dessie had to step away midway through last season due to work commitments.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On 14th June, Dessie will be reassembling his Sunday side for one final game against a mixed squad of current players. Make sure to get down to help the club give Dessie a proper send off.
