We believe all of these frivolous lawsuits have been filed in an attempt to intimidate and silence people that disagree with and push back against the Boone's unfounded attacks on our schools and our fellow community members.

This is about protecting the First Amendment rights of everybody in West Michigan. Court filings, attorneys fees, and related expenses quickly add up. The goal of lawsuits like this is often to make the process so financially draining that the person being sued has no choice but to stop speaking out.
