<div>It is with much sadness that myself and my family have to announce the passing of my husband David Cabuzet on the 27/09/25.

<div>David died in his sleep, to say the least this was a complete unexpected shock to us all.

<div>A devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

<div>He had a passion for music, and was a Leeds united supporter.
</div>
<div>He worked for many years at Serco and Sita in Haywards Heath so is known to so many local people and has made many friends over the years.
</div>
<div>I am a very proud person and would hesitate to ask anyone for help. Anyone that knows me personally will verify that.
</div>
<div>David left this world without putting anything in place such as life insurance.
</div>
<div>He had not worked for the last 3 years because of his declining health problems.
</div>
<div>He was appealing a pip claim for 18 months.
</div>
<div>I myself only work part time as I had become David's carer, I do not receive any benefits due to the benefits system failing me and being so long and drawn out to claim.
</div>
<div>David was a man of simple taste and he would not want to have a great big funeral just a simple send off.
</div>
<div>My heart is broken, I have lost my soul mate after 24 years of marriage and this is my last resort to give our family closure.
</div>
<div>The quote from the funeral directors is £2,200 and I am hoping that with the help of wonderful people I can give him the send off he deserves.
</div>
