</div>
<div>An alle Interessierten!
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>ÜBER DAS PROJEKT
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>SYNOPSIS
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Was sind Ihre Erfahrungen? Was sind Ihre Ängste und Hoffnungen?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>WARUM WIR EURE UNTERSTÜTZUNG BRAUCHEN
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>Kurz gesagt:
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>wichtige Schritte der Postproduktion in der nötigen Qualität umsetzen:
</div>
<div>Schnitt, Ton, Motion Graphics &amp; Animationen, Untertitel, wissenschaftliche Recherche, Archivmaterial-Sichtung sowie rechtliche Prüfung
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>

<div>ENGLISH:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To all those interested!
</div>
<div>With your support, we can complete our documentary film on Germany’s policies towards Israel and Palestine, as well as the repression of pro-Palestinian voices in Germany.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>ABOUT THE PROJECT
</div>
<div>The documentary explores German policies toward Israel and Palestine, highlighting how voices in solidarity with Palestine are increasingly coming under pressure in public and cultural spheres. Through interviews, case studies, and analysis, the film reveals how debates are curtailed, criticism delegitimised, and expressions of opinion penalised. LOUD SILENCE thus opens an examination of an issue in Germany that is marked by tensions, taboos, and power asymmetries.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>SYNOPSIS
</div>
<div>The documentary LOUD SILENCE focuses primarily on the period from October 7, 2023, up to the present day in Germany. Its aim is to capture perspectives and experiences of various actors in Germany in relation to the Israel-Palestine conflict — especially those that have been represented only partially or in a distorted way in public debate.
</div>
<div>On the one hand, the film takes a closer look at the different experiences of individuals and the related debates in Germany; on the other hand, it critically examines issues and concepts such as Staatsräson (reason of state), German arms deliveries, accusations of antisemitism, and restrictions on artistic and academic freedom in relation to pro-Palestinian activism.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through interviews, activists, scholars, journalists, and artists are asked to reflect on these themes. At the forefront are people themselves — their experiences and personal realities of life in Germany. LOUD SILENCE weaves these interviews together with testimonies from Gaza/Palestine, read aloud in order to make audible and tangible the often dehumanised voices from Palestine.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Experts are also interviewed regarding the historical weight of German responsibility and asked to provide context on Germany’s current trajectory in relation to human rights. What have we, as Germans, truly learned from our history?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The film further seeks to provide insight into the personal worlds of Palestinians living in Germany. What are their experiences? What are their fears and hopes?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
</div>
<div>Our goal is to complete the film with the highest artistic quality and make it accessible to a broad audience at film festivals, in cinemas, and on digital platforms.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When we started LOUD SILENCE, we thought we had a fairly clear idea of the project’s scope. We now know: it has grown—conceptually, in terms of time, and in terms of the team.
</div>
<div>In recent months, new voices, encounters, and stories have been added. Some shoots had to be expanded spontaneously; others were newly added. At the same time, the research effort has increased significantly: we work journalistically and academically, fact-check, contextualize statements, and ensure that the film remains substantively sound and responsible. We now have a great deal of material that needs to be carefully reviewed, verified, contextualized, and processed.
</div>
<div>In short: The film needs more time, more work—and more people than we initially planned.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With the original donation goal, we can complete the film in principle.
</div>
<div>With the extended goal of €60,000, we can additionally:
</div>
<ul>
<li>compensate the team for at least part of their work, enabling focused, continuous work phases (instead of everything happening “on the side”)
</li>
<li>carry out essential post-production steps at the required quality level: editing, sound, motion graphics &amp; animation, subtitles, academic research, archival material review, and legal review
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All additional funds will flow directly into the completion of the film—and into the people who make it possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are deeply grateful for your trust. This project lives through the community—and through many people collectively enabling what would otherwise remain unseen.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for walking this path with us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>TIMELINE
</div>
<div>October 2025 – March 2026: Completion of filming (final scenes, music recordings)
</div>
<div>February 2026 – June 2026: Post-production (editing, sound design, color correction, subtitling)
</div>
<div>From June 2026: Festival submissions &amp; cinema screenings
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>USE OF FUNDS
</div>
<div>Post-production (editing, color grading, subtitles, motion design, sound design): approx. €26,000
</div>
<div>Equipment, materials, travel costs, location rentals: approx. €15,000
</div>
<div>Music rights &amp; recordings: approx. €4,000
</div>
<div>Public relations, distribution &amp; legal review: approx. €5,000
</div>
<div>Team compensation (upon reaching the extended goal of €60,000 and for all additional funds beyond that): enables the team to devote themselves fully to the project for defined periods
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every form of support—large or small—means an incredible amount to us. Thank you for being part of LOUD SILENCE!
</div>
