<div>Danoris Mitchell-Gill passed away on May 19, 2025 after a short but courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind her grieving husband, and her shattered daughters Eva (17) and Emma (15). Danoris was the centre of her family’s world and her loss cannot be put into words.

<div>Danoris was also beloved by her family and her many friends at work, at the gym, and everywhere she went. We are all trying to come to grips with the loss of this beautiful person and we are all struggling without her. Danoris lived a fit, healthy and happy life, showing how cruel cancer can be.

<div>Danoris’ Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place at Armstrong Funeral Home on June 21, and details will be posted shortly.

<div>Danoris left us with the greatest gift she could have given – her own likeness in her amazing young daughters. We will always be reminded of Danoris when we see Eva and Emma which will forever brighten our days. Danoris was an amazing mom who was so close to her daughters and fiercely proud of them, as she should have been. There is so much to be proud about with Eva and Emma.

<div>Eva is headed to Sheridan College in September in an amazing program that will allow her talents to grow. Emma is a brilliant student who will be bound for further studies after high school as well.
