<div>My name is Nadeera Malavige, and I am reaching out to you during the most difficult time of my life.

<div>In 2023, my wife and I moved to England with dreams of building a better future. Sadly, our lives took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with a <strong>Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor (NET)</strong>, which has since spread to my liver. This devastating diagnosis has turned our world upside down.

<div>Due to my illness, I am unable to work. I underwent my first surgery in the first week of February and am currently in the midst of a challenging recovery. My condition remains severe, and I am still very weak. My wife has been by my side, caring for me while also managing all our expenses on her own. Once I recover from this surgery, I will need to prepare for another major operation on my liver, followed by further treatment and an extended recovery period.

<div>As we are in the <strong>UK on a work visa, we are not eligible for government benefits</strong> to help with living expenses. Our savings were completely depleted in December due to unexpected costs.  With the ongoing recovery and upcoming surgeries, we are struggling to stay afloat financially.
